TokeRx Intern 's Are the Next Generation of New Wave Marketing



Internships are a great way to apply the knowledge from the classroom to real world experience. Learning is one thing, but taking those skills into the workforce and applying them is a great way to explore different career paths and specializations that suit individual interests.


Ayana Dexter - Mass Communication/Design 21'

From hard work and dedication to love and good intentions, I am the energy that every person needs around. I fill the room with positivity on good days and with knowing that things will be better on bad days. Aside from being a parent of one, I find co-parenting a dedication with tons of support on my back. I enjoy cooking not because I’m a parent and I have to cook, but because it’s a craft in which I can be as original as the next person. I love photography so much that I’ve started my own professional business, creating and writing things by my lonesome. While these are main things I love to do, singing, writing and dancing are other things I like to do. For fun I do laser tagging, bowling and roller skating. While in this internship, I not only plan to embark on new adventures and learn the ways of my career field, but to touch those around me with great advice and lifelong friendships.


 Tyler Deters - Criminology & Sociology 21'

Through adaptation and innovation I find myself diving into many new experiences. I am extremely hard working in everything that I do and I love to learn new things to continually increase my professional value. Marketing as it is not my major has interested me for a while because it actually relates so much to my studies. Understanding people is the backbone of all marketing and I enjoy doing research to help what may be a nice campaign into a highly successful one. In my free time I like do be outdoors and hangout with my friends. I am an athlete at heart I played several sports that have taught me not only teamwork but how to improve myself on an individual level. This internship is exciting because I know I will learn so much about a new and upcoming industry.
